Pre-requisite Change:
Replaces the requirement to perform an IAQ audit with the implementation of an IAQ Management Plan.IAQ Management Plan Must Include:
Ventilation Management: Follow ASHRAE 62.1 or local standards for fresh air supply.
Pollutant Source Control: Reduce indoor air contaminants and manage chemical storage.
HVAC System Maintenance: Routine inspection, cleaning, and filter replacement.
Monitoring and Response: Procedures for monitoring and responding to IAQ issues.
Occupant Awareness: Educate building users on IAQ practices and cleanliness.
Scope of Application:
Applies to ENRB, EIND, HC, and Renewal projects under GreenRE.Points Scoring:
Remains unchanged—1 point for IAQ Management Plan, 4 points for full IAQ audit.Implementation Date:
Effective 1st July 2025 for all ongoing (optional) and new projects.
